Dodge cummins? or Ford powerstroke?

I noticed that dodge has always boasted about having big power and being able to haul tons of weight. now that Ford has introduced their new powerstroke diesal pushing more power and torque, i noticed dodge has shifted their commercials to having proven reliability and history. has Ford finally tipped the scales in the diesal engine arena?
